Short Description
Candidate must have the following experiences: Minimum total of 3 years experience as a virtualization and systems storage administrator. 1. Experience with Design, Architecture, Planning, Sizing, Implementation of Secure Virtual Infrastructure for 24/7 mission critical applications 2. Experience with Design, Architecture, Planning, Sizing, Implementation of Storage Area Network (SAN/NAS) for 24/7 mission critical applications 3. Experience with Virtualization Assessments, consolidation estimates and TCO/ROI for multiple Virtual Infrastructure products from various vendors 4. Hands on experience with Installation, Configuration, Administration, Troubleshooting of Physical Infrastructure for a Secure Virtual Infrastructure 5. Hands on experience with Installation, Configuration, Administration, Troubleshooting of Virtual Infrastructure including SAN, VMs, SAN Fabrics 6. Extensive knowledge & hands on experience of various options for secure, redundant, highly available Virtual Infrastructure 7. Extensive knowledge & hands on knowledge of various methods for guaranteed resources for Virtual Machines 8. Extensive knowledge of Security, backup & restore, disaster recovery for Virtual Infrastructure 9. Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure including Desktop/Laptop & Application Virtualization 10. Hands on experience with Installation, Configuration, Administration, Troubleshooting of various Guest Operating Systems with secure, high availability, redundant configuration with boot from SAN/NAS options 11. Experience in migration of business critical application environment from physical infrastructure to Virtual Infrastructure 12. Experience in version upgrade, critical updates, capacity upgrade, etc for Physical & Virtual Infrastructure 13. Experience in Remote Management, Reporting, Performance Tuning, Real time Alerts, Pro Active Maintenance to ensure highly available 24/7 virtual infrastructure 14. Detail knowledge of SAN Fabrics, LUN Masking, Zoning, QOS for efficient delivery of Virtual Infrastructure resources 15. Experience in Installation, Administration, Troubleshooting of Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory to provide Authorization & Authentication 16. Experience in Installation, Administration, Troubleshooting of various Network Services like DNS, DHCP, FTP, SNMP, WINS 17. Experience in implementation and administration of secure environment using firewalls, Routers, IPsec, NAP/NAC 18. Familiarity with IIS 6, SQL 2005, VPN, Network Management/Monitoring tools, documentation.
