Short Description
Purpose – Back fill the US SAP Payroll analyst for support and minor project work
Timing – (TBD)
This role requires a Senior (5+ years experience) SAP Payroll Analyst with documented project leadership experience. To be successful, this consultant needs to have very good technical knowledge of the SAP Payroll module when implemented in the United States on version ECC 6.0 and working with US Tax Laws, Tax Reporter with PDF forms, and BSI Tax Factory.
The consultant must be willing to manage and deliver a varied portfolio of tasks from simple configuration maintenance and end user support through to new process design. Excellent customer service and very good (English) language skills are a must.
Primary responsibilities include:
Timely resolution of ‘production incidents’. This person will be accountable for resolving Payroll tickets within the Service Level Agreement for Kohler’s production support team.
Adherence to Kohler’s standards for global process models, ABAP specifications, project management using CCM methodology and documentation of time spent by task, by project.
Delivery of minor projects, those that are estimated at between 10 and 199 hours of work, potentially fulfilling both the project lead and the technical analyst role on these initiatives, and coordinating other functional teams (such as ABAP programming or Benefits Administraiton) to complete the project on time and within budget.
Essential Technical Skills:
Creation of Customer Wage Types including Tax configuration, Processing, Cumulation, Evaluation Classes and Permissibility
Support of SAP Standard and Kohler customized Schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules and Features
Experience with HR forms including the Remuneration Statement and Garnishment Answer Letters
Experience with Tax Configuration including Tax Authorities, Tax Models, Tax Types, and Tax Classes
Experience with US Tax Reporter Quarterly and Yearly reports using Adobe PDF forms and Magnetic Media files
Experience with BSI Tax Factory, applying Tax Bulletins and corresponding SAP notes and Updating Experience Rates
Understanding of US Benefits Integration with Payroll including Health plans, Savings plans, and Deferred Compensation
Understanding of FI Integration with Payroll including Payroll Posting, Month-end Accruals, Payment Methods, and Bank Information
Support of Payroll Master Data Infotypes - Time Management is not used at Kohler and therefore is not required.
Third Party Remittance Processing for Garnishments including CCD/CTX electronic payments.
Experience with Claims Clearing & Arrears
Experience with Wage Type Reporting
