1. Contracts Manager ( 1 No.):
• Master’s Degree/ Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering
• 15 to 20 years of experience in roads’ & buildings’ projects in reputed MNC companies, out of which at least 5 years in GCC countries in similar position.
• Should have sound knowledge in FIDIC
• Pleasing personality, good communication skills in English
Job Description:
The role of the Contracts Manager is to support, manage, develop and administer all contract documents from the design stage and tendering process through to contract closeout. This includes the resolution of issues relating to design, construction and other project related contracts for contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and service providers across the organization. A core function of the Contracts Manager is managing the execution and assessment of requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for qualification (RFQs), and invitations to bidders (ITBs). The Contracts Manager will also define and facilitate communication between the organization and its providers in order to deliver products and services according to plan and within budget.

Strategy & Planning
- Assess and minimize the commercial risks of contracts whilst ensuring the successful delivery of each project.
- Conceive, develop, and deliver techniques, practices, and procedures for contracts formation and
administration in a manner that protects company interests.
- Define contracts recommendations that support business goals, in collaboration with senior management.
- Analyze trends and market conditions for the present and future contracts requirements of goods,
services,and third-party agents.
- Monitor and analyze trends in contractual agreements in order to make recommendations for the
future, and to identify areas for possible savings.
- To evaluate potential risks and to the project and thereafter suggest measures to reduce risks to
levels acceptable by the organization.


Task Responsibilities
- Compile risk assessment reports on the contract conditions prior to award
- Analyze contract general terms and conditions for contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and
service providers and authorities to highlight areas of risk, such as ambiguities, conflicts or
deviations from the scope of work. As work proceeds, make recommendations on the mitigation
of these risks and to closely monitor and support remedial actions including the recommendation
of appropriate tradeoffs.
- Review and control of Contracts Documents & Requirements.
- Monitor contract correspondence and provide appropriate input to protect the organization
against potential damages.
- Assist the organization in developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures.
- Negotiate terms, non-disclosure agreements, and other related issues with consultants,
contactors, subcontractors, suppliers and other third-party agents.
- Advise and contribute to the preparation of Joint Venture, Consortium or other agreements
ensuring that company’s interests and legal rights are protected
- Responsible for the approval of amendment of Construction Program.
- Conduct General Periodic Meetings to discuss future, short/long term requirements of each
project
- With a view to ensure that adequate resources are available/planned to enable continuation as
programmed or to identify any acceleration required.
- Attending major meetings with clients and consultants.
- Negotiate prices & deals with sub contractors & suppliers and recommend selections to General
Manager
- Authorizing payments to Sub Contractors and Others.
