Short Description
Position : Senior Unix QA Engineer.
Skill Sets:
1. Expert in One or More of [Unix Shell Scripting, PERL, PYTHON, C]
2. Debugging - High level debugging of the problem encountered
using debuggers like gdb, kgdb, kdb etc.
3. Expertise in developing Test Plans and Test Cases.
4. Good grasp of problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
Job Profile:
As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for debugging software through
the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality
standards. The engineer also develops, modifies, and executes software
test plans; analyzes and writes test standards and procedures; maintains
documentation of results; and works closely with development engineers
in resolution of problems. This position requires an individual who is
creative, team-oriented, technology savvy, and driven to produce
results. You will be responsible for developing test tools, writing test
scripts, automating the test environment from scratch.
Relevant Experience: 4-7 years
OS Knowledge : Linux
