The first round will be Written Round.
31 objective type questions with 4 choices, no -ve marking. questions were very difficult. for mechanical, questions were mainly from mfg. processess and numericals from power plant. u require your lady luck more than your knowledge to crack it. more than 50% students were eliminated after this round.

Next was G.D. round.
Each group containing 10-11 students. this was a non-eliminating round but the marks u score matters a lot. u can speak in Hindi or English in this round. our topic was "is it necessary for a technocrat to be an engineer?"

Next was Technical Round.
You will be called on the basis of your marks which will be the sum total of marks in previous 2 rounds. questions asked were very basic. the selected candidates will be sent for H.R. round. once u qualify the tech. round,

Then H.R. Round hardly eliminates anyone and u r almost through. but mind you one thing, u have to try to appear in the interview earlier in the order. if they select the required number of candidates, they won't show much interest in u in tech. round, however sound your knowledge is or however good your academic record is. so if u don't perform good in first two rounds and u r called for tech. after many other candidates, then your chances will be very less.
